We will be talking about ways of protecting young children who walk long distances to reach school. Most of these walk without hair, sunhats, without sunglasses, wearing short sleeves and a pair of shorts. The children are totally 100% exposed to UVA and UVB radiation, causing maximum damage to the brain, eyes, skin and immune system.
Hair is the natural covering given by God to protect, insulate and help regulate the temperature of the brain. The brain is damaged (mild to severe) from excessive heat and overexposure to UV Radiation.
Prevention is always better than cure. Infants and young children need sun hats (Enkofiira) and their own hair for protection! Arms and legs should also be covered while in the sun as well. Artificial hair on young children is a very bad idea, because the hair is made from plastic. The plastic acts as a conductor of heat, causing increased heat to the brain of the child. Children need their own hair. God put it there for a purpose.
It is unfortunate that in many parts of Uganda, the “School Rule” is to shave off all the hair of only the African student, including girls! This violates God’s Word. It also violates the constitution of the Republic of Uganda, Article 21, 1995 and Human Rights Article 2 and 30. Another name for this practice is institutionalized abuse of the African child.
Let’s take a closer look at the practice of only forcing the African child to shave their heads. All “other” students are left with their hair. God cannot make a mistake. Everything God made was good and very good. So why it is that Indian, White and Chinese, students can have their hair, but not the African students? The first thing you have to come to terms with is that God cannot make a mistake, no matter what anyone tells you.
Now hear this! It is not a school rule, if only the African student is forced to comply. It is a part of slavery, part of our past that we can just give up, simply stop doing. God knew Climate Change was coming and He gave you what you needed – wooly hair and a dark skin! It’s called adaptation. You are made perfect for Africa.
62% of the population is Christian, and we believe in the scriptures. The Bible teaches that girls should have long hair. Please just read the Word of God and see for yourself.
1 Cor. 11:5, 6, 13, 15 read:
5…But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head. For that is even all one as if she were shaven.
6…For if the woman be not covered, let her be SHORN: but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be covered!
13…Judge in yourselves: is it comely that a woman pray unto God uncovered?
15…But if a woman has long hair, it is a glory to her; for her hair is given her for a covering.
Hair is the natural covering given by God! Shaving the heads of little girls destroys femininity. In developed countries it is a form of punishment used for prisoners mainly.
Oh Yes, He does but what does the Bible say? Please read Dan.7:9 “I beheld till the Thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool…” Like what? Let me read that part again….. pure wool ! Just had to share this truth with you! So….you see, you are in good company! Oh yes, by the way, if your Bible is not telling you this, well you may need to get an “old” KJV Bible. It is the purest translation, from Hebrew to English and from Greek to English. Now please tell me again, why are African little girls not allowed to have hair, her glory?
What is Glory? The Oxford Dictionary 6 edition page 504 defines glory as: Great beauty; a special cause for pride; respect; and pleasure. Her long black hair is her crowning glory!
Remember this: Whenever you take anything away, it will always be replaced with something else. In this case her glory is replaced by fear, shame, low self esteem, rejection and inferiority complex. So why it is that Indian, White and Chinese students can have their hair, but not the African students?
God loves you so much that He gave you woolly hair to protect our head, where the brain is housed, help protect the optic nerve, and above all help protect the immune system, because overexposure to ultraviolet rays causes immuno suppression.
When your immune system is compromised, longevity is minimized, as is evident in the life expectancy for women in Uganda (48.8 years) and men (49.9) years. True, there are other factors that lead to a decrease in life expectancy, but you can’t overlook this aspect any longer, as if it does not exist.
God loves you so much he has counted every hair on your head. Matthew 10:30 –“But the very hairs of your head are all numbered.”
The “school Rule” is to shave the heads of only African children, but it is not a law. You do not have to shave off your child’s hair off any longer. God knew it would protect your head against the damaging sun rays, that’s why he gave it to you!
Are you beginning to see the benefits of keeping your hair? So why are our children at school, forced to shave off their hair? Is it culture? Tradition? Imposed self hatred? Or tribalism? Whatever you want to call it, this is a practice that must stop now, now – “kati kati!”
Since Independence (1962), the policy of head shaving has not been reviewed! It is urgent that this policy be abolished, and give way to a healthier, more vibrant, more obedient to the Word of God generation! And it all begins with you.
Uganda has oil, silver, gold, diamonds, other precious and semi-precious stones, fertile soils and fresh water lakes all over the place. Wow! All these natural resources given by God, but for whom? It has to be for all Ugandans, first and foremost.
Just wondering …who will be in charge of all this vast wealth, all the goodies if we are faced with a generation of young people all with brain damage mild to severe, who are not able to govern or lead the people? For sure there is a national security risk element here, that will at some point in time need to be factored in. What do you think? The last school term (2011) test results revealed that Ugandan students scored the lowest of the Eastern block countries, in all area of study, from primary to university level. Why do you think this is?
A picture is still worth a thousand words.
